Use Quorvid with Claude: make videos by asking

Instead of filling in a form, tell your AI assistant what you want. It makes the video in Quorvid with your credits and brings you the finished file.

What it is

Claude Desktop, Claude Code and other apps that support the open Model Context Protocol (MCP) can use outside tools. Quorvid provides a small connector for it. Once it is added, you talk to your assistant as usual and it uses Quorvid behind the scenes.

An example

You: Make a vertical 45-second video about why the Moon is slowly drifting away from Earth. Standard voice.

Assistant: That will cost 0 credits today, because your free daily credits cover it. Starting it now... Done. Here is your video, plus a thumbnail.

The wording is only an illustration. The assistant checks the price first and only uses the tools you allow it to.

What the assistant can do

• Check your credit balance, the price list and the price of a video before it is made.
• Create a video from a topic or your own script, with the voice, shape and style you ask for.
• Check on a video while it renders and give you the download link.
• Turn narration text into audio, and generate images.
• Cut a finished video into Shorts, dub it into another language, and make a thumbnail.
• List your recent videos and the standard voices for a language.

Set up in three steps

1. Create a key. In the Quorvid app, open Connect to Claude, name a key and set its daily spending limit. Copy it. It is shown once.
2. Add the connector. Download quorvid_mcp.py, run pip install mcp httpx, and add it to Claude Desktop or Claude Code. The app shows the exact settings with your key filled in.
3. Ask for a video.

You need Python installed. You can check your setup any time with python quorvid_mcp.py --check.

You stay in control

• Daily spending limit. Each key has its own limit, 50 credits by default. When it is used up, the assistant is told no.
• Price first. The assistant is told to quote the price before spending, and it can refuse anything above a ceiling you give it.
• Narrow permissions. A key cannot buy credits, delete your videos, clone voices or create more keys.
• Revoke any time. One click switches a key off immediately. Only a scrambled version of each key is stored on our side.

What it costs

The same credits as the app, with the same free daily credits. A short standard-voice video is 2 credits (often covered by your daily credits), and a one-minute premium-voice video is 14. See pricing.
